A single in-person reading — and it ends when the hour does. Nothing arrives next month.
The book is the sky you were born under.
The Current is what it's doing now.
Once a month, a reading written against your own chart — the exact transits, the exact dates, the weeks worth planning around. Your birth data stays in the vault; you never enter it again.
Don't take our word for it
Below is the anatomy of a reading. Or open one — a real month, computed at build time against the house sample chart (born January 30, 1999, 12:35, Martinez, California). Yours reads your sky instead.
The month's weather
Every exact hit your chart takes this month — the slow planets first, because they matter most. Each with its wall-clock date, not a vibe.
Power windows
When three or more slow events cluster within a fortnight, the month has a spine. The reading names those weeks outright — the ones worth clearing your calendar for.
Stations on your points
A planet standing still on one of your degrees is the most powerful event class there is. When one happens on yours, it leads the page.
The quick tide
Under the slow clocks, the Moon returns to every corner of your chart on her monthly round — the day-to-day rhythm under the month's weather.

The arithmetic
What a month of your own sky actually costs.
A reading computed against your stored chart, on your shelf by the first, every month you stay. Stop the renewal any time; the year stays yours.
Twelve readings, one long letter from your own sky — for less than two hours of anyone's time.
And the honest edge: if the first one doesn't read like your month, cancel. No letter to write, no guilt to carry.
Why it compounds
It remembers
Each month is computed from the same stored chart — the vault holds your sky once, and every reading builds on the last. The year starts to read as one continuous letter.
Your birthday month is different
The solar return — the Sun back to your exact degree — opens the year's reading. The system knows your birthday; the month it comes round, your reading carries it.
Zero upkeep
No app to check, nothing to log, nothing to re-enter. The reading lands on your shelf; the letter tells you it's there.
Four ways in
The Current is the heart of it. The rest are for when the habit holds.
The Current
The monthly reading against your stored chart — the month's weather, the power windows, the tide. Stop the renewal any time; the year stays yours for you.
Inner Library
The archive alongside: the deep essays, the member editions, the canon beyond the shelf. For the readers.
Ritual
The Current plus quarterly electional windows — the right moments for the moves that matter, timed to your chart.
Full Canon
Everything above, and the collector objects as they come. The whole house, one key.
Join The Current
If you've bought a book, your chart is already in the vault — email alone is enough. New here? Add your birth details and the vault takes them from there.
Asked often
Can I pause or cancel?
Any month, from your shelf, in one gesture. A paused Current waits where you left it; nothing is billed while it sleeps, and your chart stays in the vault for when you return.
I don't know my birth time.
Then we don't invent it. The reading computes what a date alone honestly knows — sign to the degree, decan, ruling planets — and says so on the page. If you find the hour later, the next month deepens.
I already bought a book — do I re-enter anything?
Nothing. Your chart is already in the vault from your order; your email is the whole door. The first reading is computed from the same sky your book was written from.
When does it arrive?
By the first of each month, on your shelf, with a letter to tell you it's there. The birthday month carries your solar return — the year's own opening.
What if it doesn't land?
Cancel, and we part clean. A reading that doesn't read like your month is ours to answer for — the honesty block is not decoration.
